About the Software Our Book Viewing Software is unique. It has been specially developed to quickly access scanned book pages. The software by-passees the standard Microsoft Windows Image Viewer which enables it to display the pages much faster than you would expect. Screen Shot:
Functionality The Book Viewing Software has lots of 'in-built' functionality that comes as standard:
BOOK INDEXING During the scanning process, each page can be indexed. This means that associated data can be attached to each page that will enable fast and easy access to specific pages. In the example below - pages have been scanned with index data of surname initial and year. Which means that a reader can access all pages relating to a surname initial during a specific year. This example shows someone searching for pages that contain surnames beginning of 't' during the year '1860'.
Wildcards can be used which means for example that entering '186*' into the year field would show all pages relating to the 1860's.
