The Back Data Entry Process
To minimise the impact on your workflow, your papers/books etc. will be scanned and the data will be captured from your scanned images ensuring that your papers/books etc. are returned to you as soon as possible. With 2-level accuracy checks, we guarantee an accuracy level of at least 98%. In addition, we've developed a range of sophisticated checking programs to verify accuracy at any stage of a project. These can be tailored to suit any requirements which, together with the option of double keying, ensure the highest levels of accuracy. Delivering results that seamlessly integrate with your work process. Whether the data is numeric, text, typed or hand-written, our large typing pool are able to accurately read and type the data into a file format that you specify. Our prices are fixed and are given per 1,000 keystrokes which means you only pay for work keyed. If you were to do the same work in-house you would have to pay for break periods, training time, sickness, holidays etc. Output The data can be uploaded into your own databases and systems, alternatively we can create software and databases and also websites for you. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your own back data entry project. Burial Data We have been performing back data entry for our Burial Office clients. After scanning their burial registers and indexes we have been typing the plot records from the scanned images. Much of this text is hand-written in calligraphy style writing - however - we have still been able to capture the data with 98% accuracy. A recent project meant that we had to type more than 200,000 records - this was achieved in less than 2 months! Datafind Services create websites and are able to integrate database software into them. This means that the data captured can be accessed via secure passwords by anyone anywhere in the world, on a FREE or 'pay-per-view' basis. |
